Dedicated Working Group on Improving the Performance of Labour Markets and Social Systems 5th meeting: “New forms of work – actions to optimise the benefits and tackle the challenges”
Background
As part of their integrated projects 2016-2018 and 2019-2020 the European social partners created a dedicated working group on improving the performance of labour market and social systems. Four meetings took place on NEETs (young people Not in Employment, Education, or Training), active labour market policies, childcare provisions and demographic challenges. To continue the joint work, a further two meetings will take place in this current round of project activities, focusing on two new topics that are highly relevant for European labour markets and social systems: new forms of work and active inclusion.
We are pleased to invite you to the 5th meeting of this dedicated group on the topic of new forms of work and related social partner actions.
The aim of the meeting is to facilitate mutual learning on the benefits and challenges associated with new forms of work for employers, workers and their representatives, as well as actions by social partners in this field and social partner involvement in government-led or tripartite actions.
