Social partners’ involvement in the European semester in turbulent times
Background
COVID has created new opportunities for, and expectations on, national employers’ organisations to contribute to the definition of policies within the national and EU context that will foster the economic and labour market recovery. At the same time, this creates additional workload for national employers’ organisations and the need for more coordination with their own members.
With its technical assistance top-up project 2022-2024, BusinessEurope aims to provide coordination and support to its national member organisations to help them to maintain, develop and improve their capacity in light of the COVID pandemic. This support is focussing on the exchange of practices and experiences among BusinessEurope’s membership as concerns social dialogue related issues as well as the involvement of national member organisations in the European semester and the importance of this for framing the economic and labour market recovery.
We are pleased to invite you to the second seminar to discuss social partners’ involvement in the European semester in turbulent times.
