Third cluster seminar of the European employers’ project on the cost-effectiveness of apprenticeship schemes

Background

This cluster seminar is tailored to enable the 3 target countries – Hungary, Greece, Latvia – to exchange views and practices on the cost-effectiveness of apprenticeship schemes. These discussions will take place with representatives from the resource countries – including from among Austria, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands – with a well-established dual learning apprenticeship system.

The seminar will be an opportunity to reinforce awareness about the benefits of well-functioning apprenticeship schemes for employers through the exchange and discussion of existing practices. The main objective is to inspire the process of employers’ involvement in apprenticeship schemes. These discussions will take place in the context of the overarching theme of the cost-effectiveness of apprenticeship schemes in the ICT, commerce and engineering sectors
