European Social Dialogue
The main activity of the project has been to promote and support the implementation of the European social partners’ autonomous framework agreement on digitisation. This included the development of a digital tool, with a repository of examples from members at all levels, as well as cluster seminars and a final conference.
The conference gave the opportunity to disseminate and promote the online tool. A short video has been shared during the conference. It included the outcomes of the projects and interviews of the social partners both at the European and National levels.
Overall, the project allowed social partners to set a reference point for what social partners need to do on digitalisation. It also helped social partners open up avenues for further exploration on this constantly evolving topic.
The action also enabled the EU cross-sectoral Social Partners to continue their joint work on promoting and reinforcing the EU social dialogue and to provide support to the implementation of the forthcoming social dialogue work programme. In this context, two meetings have been organised as part of a dedicated working group on improving the performance of labour market and social systems.
Separate employers action – support to facilitate coordination with EU sectoral employer social partners
As separate activity, BusinessEurope, SGI Europe and SMEunited aimed to support facilitating coordination with EU sectoral employer organisations through the European Employers Network and respective members, on matters related to social dialogue, collective bargaining trends, social partner capacity building and coordination of sectoral participation in commission dedicated hearings and other events.
At the end of this project, 4 reports were finalised in October 2024:
- “European employers’ sectoral coordination – 2023 EU level survey on sectoral social dialogue and capacity building “
- “European employers sectoral coordination –2023 national level survey on sectoral collective bargaining trends”
- “European employers’ sectoral coordination – 2024 EU level survey on sectoral social dialogue and capacity building “
