In their work programme 2012-14, the European social partners have decided to open a negotiation on a Framework of Actions on Youth Employment.
In parallel, the European Commission has launched its Youth Opportunities Initiative to identify concrete measures that can be put in place rapidly to ease young people‟s transitions from education to employment and reduce youth unemployment.
The objective is to organise between social partners, exchanges of practices and measures regarding transitions with a focus on apprenticeship and dual learning systems.
